This Friday will be a big day for me. I am scheduled for a full hysterectomy which includes removal of uterus, tubes, and cervix. I have a long history of endometriosis, and now have developed what is called Adenomyosis. Many people have asked what exactly this is so I thought I'd share so those asking would have a better understanding. Unfortunately it is extremely painful and truly runs your life. Just over the past 6-9 months I've gone from pain 1 to 2 weeks out of the month to pain occuring daily. Even tasks as simple as just running a few errands causes a great deal of pain. While I am very sad with the idea that there will be no more biological babies in my future, I am very much ready to have my life back and be pain free. The link below should help give some understanding.

What's for Dinner?
So I love, love, love trying new recipes! Friends will often ask for suggestions and I think it's because I don't mind being the guinea pig to try things out and luckily we only have one little girl who is picky, but she's learning she at least has to try things. I'm not going to force my kids to eat every bite, but I do require they take at least one "no thank you" bite. If they don't like it they can say "no thank you" and guess what...more often than not they like it!
This is one of our favorites and it was one of our dinners this week. It's so easy and yummy! I love Mix and Match Mama and her recipes are great so be sure to check them out! Click the picture below for the recipe! Enjoy!

I'm Back and Charlotte turns 4!
So after going back and forth on returning to my blog I've decided to give it a go! I follow many blogs that I just love so I decided to pull ours up. After reading back through ours I saw SO many things I had completely forgotten about until I read through old posts. Let me tell you I am SO glad I have these memories. They may have been simple day to day things like boring trips to the grocery, but there were also milestone moments with Bo. Now...I'm have terrible mommy guilt for not keeping up with the blog when Charlotte was born, Like really bad kicking myself every time I think about it mommy guilt. Kind of goes along with the sweet little pink baby book upstairs that has ummmm, one entry in it. It was the typical baby #2 arrives, daddy works looooooong hours with crazy commute, also lots of travel I think I was just in survival mode. So here we go starting fresh! Hope you enjoy following our family along the way!
So I thought Charlotte's 4th birthday would be a great place to start! The child you really won't find anything about, yep...she's 4! A few weeks ago we had Charlotte's 4th birthday party here at the house. When we asked her what kind of party she said she wanted a water slide! Simple enough! I decided to make it a "Sunshine" party because that's kind of our thing. Every night I sing her "You Are My Sunshine" and when I say every night I mean EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT! She won't let daddy sing it to her, it has to be me and if for some reason I'm not able to, there are many times at 2:00am I've woken up to "you didn't sing me the sunshine song" and I have to sing it before I can go back to sleep. This girl and her routine. Whew!!!! We had a great time, lots of friends and family it was wonderful! The weather couldn't have been more perfect, it was probably one of my favorite parties. Kept things very simple with it being at 2:00pm just a few snacks and cake. I didn't get a ton of pics because honestly I was just enjoying the party and spending time with our friends. Still cannot believe our baby is 4!!! We love you Charlotte bug!
These 3 girls love each other so much!!! Charli, McKenzie, and Charlotte!! Oh my goodness I wish you could see them together in person, it's just precious!!!
Make sure to check back! Lots of fun things planned for the blog!
