1st Haircut

Friday morning before we headed to Greenville I gave in and decided it was time for Bo's 1st haircut! I've been putting it off for the longest time, there's just something about cutting that baby hair, the hair he was born with. Jarrod had the day off so he was able to go with us. We took him to Pigtails and Crewcuts, what a cool place!! Bo got to sit in a red fire engine, the movie Cars was on right in front of him, and mommy was blowing bubbles to try and keep him still. He did fantastic!!! The only time he really got upset was when she used the clippers and I'm not sure if it was the buzzing or the tickle he didn't like.

I have some video but I'm having a hard time getting it loaded so these will have to do for now. He instantly went from baby to little boy!!! Oh, the girl did tell us that he will have curly or at least wavy hair. She said you can tell as you look at the hair pattern close to the scalp. Guess he got mommy's hair! I did ask her the best way to comb his hair because his baby brush isn't cutting it anymore. She said at night to use a comb after his bath and in the morning put a little "product" in it and style with my fingers!! I fell out laughing...he's 17 months and I'm supposed to put hair product in his hair?? Too funny, although I must admit when she did it after his cut it did look really cute!
