My Heart Stopper!

Today Bo had his Valentine’s Exchange at school so I decided to make cookies for him to give to his little friends.  I saw this idea and thought it was too cute to pass up.  First of all I finally found a recipe for homemade sugar cookies, the good ones…not too sweet, soft & chewy, a lot like you would find at a bakery.  Anyway, along with that recipe I also found an icing recipe…the kind that dries hard and shiny!  It was a little trial and error trying to get the icing to the consistency that worked best, but for my first time I thought they turned out kind of cute!  I used fondant cutters instead of cookie cutters, because they were much smaller and I did “X” and “O” cookies.  They are the perfect size for these little guys!
