Getting read for summer!

summer 2

I can’t believe we are already at the end of May…where did the time go?  I think we’ve finally gotten our summer plans nailed down.  Bo’s last day of school will be next Wednesday.  I really wanted to schedule a trip for Bo and I to go to MS since I haven’t been home since Thanksgiving.  We will be leaving next Thursday to spend some time with friends and family, I am so excited!  We will be gone about a week and will come home in time to spend Memorial Day weekend with daddy!  Our good friend, Greg, is coming down for a visit.  He is about to become a daddy in a few months so I think he wanted one last guy weekend before daddy duty kicks in!

Right after Memorial Day Bo will start swimming lessons, should be interesting!  We’ll go every evening at 5:30pm for two weeks straight.  Then we will head straight into SonShine Camp at North Metro, same church Bo goes to school.  He will go every Tuesday and Wednesday for 5 weeks from 9am-1pm!  They have so many fun things planned they have water day, snow cone day, etc… I know he’ll love it!  We will also continue speech therapy on Thursday mornings.  Once camp is over Bo will be going to spend a week with my parents in MS.  Ever since I found out I was pregnant my mom always said “when he gets old enough can he come spend a week in the summer?”  You don’t have to ask me twice.  I quickly decided that this summer he is old enough!!!!!  So Jarrod will be taking some time off of work and we’ll have time to do whatever we want!!!  Not sure if we are going to go anywhere, but I’m happy staying home and going to the pool with a good book!  I also have some projects I’ll be working on during the summer, mostly things around the house.  The biggest project of them all will be the attempt of potty training.  I’m pretty sure we won’t attempt this until late summer, maybe that will be a good thing for him to do while spending the week with my parents…sounds good to me!   Hopefully it will be a fun summer for everyone.  Come fall our schedules get will be getting crazy busy so I’m hoping to enjoy and relax over the summer!
