I had the best Mother’s Day weekend ever!!! It all started Friday afternoon with beautiful flowers from Jarrod and the best news he had was that he wasn’t going to be working at all over the weekend! Saturday Jarrod took Bo to have some daddy-son time and to give mommy a break. It was great! Later that afternoon we spent the day outside playing and running a few errands. Sunday we got up and went to the early service at church then came home, made a pot of coffee, and read the paper out on the back deck while Bo played in his sandbox. Sunday afternoon we went to the park, enjoyed an early dinner and topped it all off with a trip to get ice cream, this was daddy’s plan, but he didn’t have to fight me too much on it. We didn’t do anything elaborate, but to me it was the perfect weekend. I don’t need much, just time with my two boys!
Thank you so much to all of my friends and family for all of the sweet cards, gifts, and phone calls. It truly made the day so special!
Before heading to the park we went to Old Town Suwanee where they have an old caboose, Bo had a blast playing on it.
