If you read my post from last week you know I had a little bit of a challenge with painting Bo’s room. Well I got it done and this weekend we were able to get things up on the wall. The only thing we are missing at this point is a bookshelf I still have to order. I’m hoping it will fit between his two windows, if not he has a little nook that I’m planning on turning into a “reading nook” that we can put it in instead. It’s going to be so cute, I can’t wait for it to be complete. Now baby’s room…well it’s painted haha! You can already tell it’s the second child. At this point with Bo his room was completely done for the most part. Oh well, my theory is baby probably won’t even go in there for the first 3 months anyway so we have time! Once we get Bo’s room completed I’ll post more pics but here’s a glimpse!
“Helping dad” Anything that dad does, Bo has to do.
So while dad was hanging curtain rods, Bo ran downstairs to get his hammer. Any time dad would use the drill, Bo would start hammering on the drill case. It was so cute!
Not a good picture, but the space between the windows is where a ladder bookshelf is going to go. We have a ton of “firetruck” things to put on it.
Bo’s growth chart a friend of mine made. Now I just have to get out his baby book and chart his height from the past 3 years!
I wish I had gotten a close up of these. I found them on ebay.
They are vintage firetruck ads from a firetruck magazine. I believe they were all from the mid 1950’s.
All I could find were boring brown frames, because they are a little odd shaped so I just spray painted these red.
